Hi, and how's everyone enjoying the new Doctor Who?
Life continues at its blinding pace at TTZ Towers, but we hope to have at least one brand-new issue of TTZ for you this 50th (!!) anniversary year.
To give the most time possible to hypothetical contributors, we are setting the submission deadline as September 7, 2013. This should give you plenty of time to come up with ANYTHING related to Doctor Who to send in for consideration. We publish 99% of what is sent our way, so as long as it's family-friendly, why not give us a shot? We are an inclusive Doctor Who fanzine and like getting different points of view. We like looking at all eras, media, and fanon elements of the show. We are looking for artwork, comics, poetry, and nonfiction articles. We generally don't publish fan fiction, though we have been known to publish shorter pieces.
We'd love to hear from you. The call out will start on Twitter and Facebook imminently. And you can e-mail us at theterriblezodinezine@yahoo.co.uk.

The Terrible Zodin Doctor Who Meetup 3
We'd be delighted if you could join us for the third The Terrible Zodin Doctor Who fan meet up which will be on Saturday 6th April 2013.
Venue will be confirmed nearer the time (We'll be keeping an eye on TFL's plans for engineering work) but will most likely be The Mayflower Pub in Rotherhithe as it was the last two times.
Follow the events page on Facebook for updates here
We'd love to see many of you there and in the mean time here's some photos from last years events which have been kindly provided by Marcus Judge and Craig Hanson

TTZ15
We have been mulling around some ideas for the theme of TTZ15 and I wondered whether we could get enough writers to do a feature on fans not from "The Big Five"... ie Britain, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. We've had writing in the past from Finnish and Israeli fans and art from around the world. Would anyone be willing to take this on?
Also, I wouldn't limit it to just fans from other countries ... I would include this to looking at Doctor Who stories set in places other than "The Big Five," or having some element not from these cultures. "City of Death" is an easy suggestion; so is "Girl in the Fireplace" and "Let's Kill Hitler."
Anyone?
Whatever your content, please submit by 12 December to theterriblezodinezine (at) yahoo.co.uk.

The Terrible Zodin # 14 (Summer 2012)
Diddly dum diddly dum diddly dum diddly dum.....
It's the return of The Terrible Zodin with our brand spanking new bumper sized issue 14.
We've been on hiatus (For the good reason, that your Editor Leslie McMurtry is concentrating on her PHD, rather than a bad reason that the fanzine equivalent of Michael Grade has got it in for us!) but we couldn't leave you without at least one issue this year.
TTZ14 is dedicated to all things Doctor Who audio, the aural soundscapes of those unearthly worlds from incidental music to full cast Big Finish plays, and fan audios along the way. We've got Pescatons, Jago and Litefoot and A Death in the Family.
Also this issue we interview Paul Castle (Editor of Shooty Dog Thing); Fear Her gets the No! Not the Mind Probe! treatment and the Back2theWhoture team watch Marco Polo and the Masque of Mandragora.
Featuring all brand new writing and stunning artwork, issue 14 of The Terrible Zodin is a smorgasbord of original voices in the fandom of the Whoniverse.
Enough waffle, dive in, enjoy and please please send us feedback - good OR bad, we'd love to hear from you.
Till the next time.

The Terrible Zodin Doctor Who Meet Up # 2
Following the success of last years meet up, we'll be holding another Doctor Who fan meet up on Saturday 28th April 2012 in London. We'll most likely hold it at The Mayflower Pub in Rotherhithe but we'll confirm closer to the time and will be keeping on TFL's plans for engineering work, as that'll be the decider.
We'd really love to see our contributors and readers there.
Follow the event invitation on Facebook for updates, though we will of course update here as well.
